🌿 Individual Therapy

There are times in life when our usual ways of coping no longer help, or when we feel stuck with our thoughts, emotions, and questions. The support of loved ones can be very valuable, but it is not always easy to talk to them about everything. Sometimes we need a neutral and professionally trained person by our side—someone who can help us explore our experiences in a safe environment and notice what may be difficult to see on our own.

In individual therapy, I create a safe, trusting, and non-judgemental space where you can be with your experience exactly as it is. You do not need to know immediately what the problem is or how to talk about it. We begin with what feels important to you right now and move forward at a pace that respects your needs and readiness.

Together, we explore your emotions, needs, bodily responses, and recurring relationship and behavioural patterns. I help you understand more clearly how earlier experiences may influence your present-day choices, well-being, and relationships. The purpose of therapy is not to give you ready-made answers, but to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, discovering new choices, and finding changes that feel right for you.

I see each person as a whole because our emotional, physical, relational, and sexual worlds are closely interconnected. My work is guided by your needs, and I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy, systemic family and couples therapy, trauma therapy, sex therapy, and body- and experience-based approaches. I am also currently training in body psychotherapy.

Individual therapy may be helpful if you:

  • experience difficulties in your relationship with your partner, parents, children, friends, or colleagues;

  • notice recurring relationship or behavioural patterns in your life that you would like to change;

  • experience anxiety, inner tension, loneliness, sadness, or emotional overwhelm;

  • have lost touch with yourself, your needs, or your joy in life;

  • are facing a crisis, loss, separation, or major life transition;

  • have experienced trauma, abuse, or other painful events;

  • struggle with self-esteem, setting boundaries, or expressing yourself;

  • wish to understand your emotions, needs, and bodily responses more deeply;

  • need a neutral and supportive person with whom to make sense of your life and choices;

  • wish to develop a deeper and safer connection with yourself and others.

Individual therapy is available for adults and adolescents.

🌿 Couples Therapy

There is no single recipe for an ideal relationship that works for everyone. A healthy relationship does not mean the absence of conflict, but the ability to stay connected during difficult moments, communicate your needs, and restore closeness after being hurt.

In couples therapy, we explore the patterns that repeat between you and what is really happening beneath them. Often, the central problem is not one particular disagreement but a recurring cycle: one partner reaches for connection while the other withdraws; one criticises while the other becomes defensive; and eventually, both feel alone, unheard, or misunderstood. Within this cycle, deeper emotions and needs may remain hidden—the longing for closeness, safety, recognition, touch, or reassurance.

In therapy, I create a space where both partners can speak and feel heard. I help you slow down difficult conversations, understand the emotions behind your reactions, and express your needs in ways that support connection. The aim is not to decide who is right or who is to blame, but to understand the pattern between you and help you create a safer connection with one another.

Couples therapy may support you if:

  • the same conflicts, accusations, or periods of silence keep recurring in your relationship;

  • you have become emotionally or physically distant from one another;

  • there is little closeness, affection, or sexual intimacy in your relationship;

  • one or both partners feel lonely, rejected, or misunderstood;

  • trust has been damaged by an affair, secrets, or other painful events;

  • you are navigating parenthood, a blended family, illness, or another major life transition;

  • you are considering separation but wish to understand your relationship more deeply before making a decision;

  • you wish to prevent problems from becoming more serious and build a more conscious foundation for your shared future;

  • you wish to restore closeness, trust, and emotional safety.

Couples therapy can be helpful at any stage of a relationship—at the beginning of a life together, in a long-term partnership, during a crisis, or when you simply wish to care for an already strong relationship more consciously. Sometimes therapy helps partners find their way back to one another; at other times, it supports them in ending the relationship as clearly, respectfully, and peacefully as possible.

I am a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, also known as an EFT therapist, and I have completed training in Imago Relationship Therapy. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy helps partners understand the negative interaction patterns that have developed between them, as well as the attachment needs and more vulnerable emotions beneath those patterns.

🌿 Sexual Therapy Consult

Sexuality is a natural and important part of being human. It is connected not only to sexual behaviour, but also to the body, self-esteem, identity, intimacy, pleasure, safety, and relationships. Yet talking about sexuality can bring up considerable shame, uncertainty, silence, or fear of judgement.

Sexual therapy is a form of talking therapy in which we can explore questions related to sexuality, intimacy, and close relationships in a safe and non-judgemental way. This therapy does not involve sexual activity or physical contact. You may attend sessions individually or together with your partner.

The reasons behind sexual difficulties can vary greatly and are often interconnected. They may be influenced by health conditions, hormonal changes, medication, stress, traumatic experiences, self-esteem, relationship problems, upbringing, and cultural or religious attitudes. For this reason, therapy considers both the person and their situation as a whole, without looking for one simple cause or a quick solution.

You may consider sex therapy if:

  • your sexual desire has decreased or disappeared, or you and your partner have different levels of desire;

  • you experience pain, discomfort, or fear related to sexual intercourse;

  • you have difficulty becoming aroused or reaching orgasm;

  • you experience difficulties related to erection or ejaculation;

  • sexual behaviour or pornography use has become difficult to control;

  • sexuality is accompanied by shame, guilt, anxiety, or insecurity;

  • previous experiences of trauma or abuse affect your relationship with your body, boundaries, or intimacy;

  • you wish to understand your sexuality, desires, boundaries, or identity more deeply;

  • physical intimacy has diminished in your relationship, or you find it difficult to talk about sexuality;

  • you wish to reconnect with your body, pleasure, and vitality;

  • you need support with changes related to childbirth, illness, surgery, ageing, or menopause.

For me, sexuality is not a separate issue but part of a person’s emotional, physical, and relational whole. When relevant, therapy may also explore attachment, relationship dynamics, earlier experiences, body awareness, and ways of creating greater safety, openness, and intimacy.

I am a certified sex therapist. I have also expanded my knowledge through Eastern teachings and the philosophy of tantra, where sexuality is understood as a connection between life energy, creativity, body, and mind. I use this knowledge professionally and with respect for each client’s worldview—no teaching or approach is ever imposed in therapy.

In this form of therapy, you may also talk about subjects for which you do not yet have the right words. You decide what you wish to share and when, and we move forward at a pace that feels safe for you.

🌿 Therapy may be contraindicated in the case of epilepsy, retinal disorders, glaucoma, osteoporosis, untreated high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, a recent heart attack or stroke, the use of blood-thinning medication, the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, or severe psychiatric conditions. If necessary, please consult the therapist beforehand.

🌿 These forms of therapy can be combined according to your individual needs to create the most suitable and effective path towards healing and growth.

🌿 Sessions are available both in person and online, in Estonian and English.
